Looking for object donations for exhibition

Looking for donations for an exhibition version of ‘Vaasa in Luck’: any special objects that you do not need anymore but would like to see in Kuntsi (Museum of Modern Art, Vaasa, Finland) are welcome! There, the objects will be available for exchange at the ‘To have – to own’ exhibition (3 December 2011 – 31 January 2012) – visitors will be
invited to take any object they need or like in exchange for an object they don’t need or like anymore. If you’re interested to be part of the exhibition, please get in touch (luck@random-people.net) and I will let you know the details.

In the closing performance we all cheered – for “Vaasa in Luck”, for the objects, for the successful exchanges, for everybody who took part. So I would like to share this with you – this here goes to everybody out there, good luck!!

“Vaasa in Luck” is over. I’m going home. This is what is left from the exchanges after the closing performance, this is what gold can become. Lucky me, it’s easy to carry and does not cause any worries.

Dear all, only a few days for trading are left and I am very close to being “as fortunate as nobody else under the sun”! The current objects on offer: a booklet on Ingmar Bergman (in German), a soft toy key ring, a pack of coffee, a pencil case and a badge. Anything you want to have in exchange for an object of lesser value?

This has been a weekend of great luck: I got a lamp for an umbrella, and then some coffee for the lamp. I got a pencil case for a concert ticket. And a badge for a reflector. Sitting in my studio, drinking coffee, reading on Ingmar Bergman, taking notes. Wearing a badge, reminding me that I should speak no evil. Never loosing my keys because of my big key ring!

My luck is not ending – new selection of objects on offer: a red umbrella, a booklet on Ingmar Bergman (in German), a key ring with a soft toy (seal), a reflector in the shape of a teddy bear for the dark days and a concert ticket for the Vaasa city orchestra, next Thursday, 22.9., 19:00!
Again – you can either have all objects or some or one of them in exchange for something of lesser value.

Lucky me – first I had ONE blu-ray player and now I have FIVE objects: a white cup, a bag, one book about snowflakes, one booklet about Ingmar Bergman (in German) and one red umbrella! The perfect selection for rainy weather like this. You can have any of these objects or all of them together – make suggestions, as usual I am trading for things that are less valuable.
